The Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship and Training Trust is a joint partnership between The Alaska Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1547. The AJEATT is an apprenticeship program dedicated to producing Alaska’s best trained and most qualified electrical workers.

Alaska Public Media and area businesses, educational institutions, and community service organizations are partnering in a workforce development initiative, called Alaska @ Work, focused on high-demand jobs in Alaska that do not require four-year degrees. Through multimedia content and promotion, Alaska Public Media is amplifying the great work being done to help students, parents, educators, and businesses become aware of and connect with training, apprenticeships, resources and job searches to jump-start a career.
